Oh Louisville!

Saturday night we traveled up to Louisville for a couple of farewell parties for our friends one on saturday night and the other sunday morning. Everything went great except we are going to miss our really good friends for a while. Well, on our way back home from Louisville about 4 PM we discovered coming off of a ramp in Shelbyville that we had a flat. The good thing we were going slow enough and heard something odd and sure enough it was a blow out. Thank goodness we weren't going 70 on the HWY. Tim was doing fine changing the front tire until he discovered that one of the lug nuts was smaller than the others and couldn't get it off. Thankfully Tim's best friend and dad live pretty close and came to help us with some other tools to get it off. So they were able to get the tire off but then we discovered the donut wheel was flat and had to go to the gas station to get air in it. It took us a whole hour and a half just to get that done. We made it home safely by 7:30 just in time for Tim to go to work for a meeting at 8. Shew, cut that close and he had hw after he got back...thank goodness it wasn't a ton.
With all that said we went to walmart today and spent 166 dollars for two tires and rotation. The good thing we actually had some money to be able to buy them. I tell ya its been on thing after the other but I am sure glad that we were blessed with enough money to get new tires.
